used last night and they work very well, the plastic coating will crack in time but that is to be expected when getting dunked in boiling water.

It took me a while to finally cave and purchase a pair of these. I don't know why I didn't just by them sooner because we do a lot of canning but I was making it work without them. Once I used them I will never go back, it makes it so much easier and I happy my wife finally just bought them

It works really well. I tried to use regular tongs with my first batch of pickles and it was difficult. These make it so much easier!

We can alot in the fall. These work well. They are sturd and didnt bemd on fully loaded quart size jars. Definitely makes the job easier
