I received it and did not work at all. Would not turn on, bought new batteries, still didn't work. I ended up buying a T7i on another site.

The 850D is considered a "Grey Market" item sold outside of the USA. The identical and exact twin camera is the CanonT8i. Canon only honors its warranty on the T8i. Although sellers will tell you that they have their own warranty I would stick with Canon's service. I paid 50 bucks more and got the real thing direct from Canon's site. I trust their service and handling of any problems. Be sure to read reviews on the seller's site and inform yourself about the 850 "Grey market item. In fact, give Canon a call and ask if your item of interest will be covered by their warranty. Pay a little more and be secure.
