Canopus just makes superb snare wires and these 42 strand Back Beat wires are wonderful! There are a lot of very good snare wire manufacturers but Canopus makes the best wires!🥁

Don’t was the your time and money on any other wires if you take the sound and sensitivity of your snare drum seriously. I swapped out these wires on multiple Dunnett snare drums that I own. The result is fat crispy articulate response across tunings and dynamics. Ghost notes are clear and buzz rolls are infinitely easier.

Very sensitive and crisp. Be prepared to be amazed at what this can do for your snare sound. I put this one my father's vintage Leedy snare and I will never go back to traditional (lower count) snare wires again. Pricy, but it works.
