Designed with the Angouleme House of authors, it has been tested and approved by French and American professional illustrators. Canson Illustration paper is ideal for all cartoon-drawing and illustration. It is suitable for pencil, ink, wash, felt pen, fountain pen and ballpoint pen. It has a smooth texture which resists scraping, adhesive tape and erasing. Being high white it gives an excellent colour contrast and therefore is ideal for scanning.

I'm a professional comic artist (inker) and illustrator. I've spent almost the last decade reviewing various bristol-like paper for comic and illustration use on YouTube, spending thousands of dollars over the years sampling and testing paper, so my exposure to various paper is beyond the average person's.The Cason Illustration paper is one of the best art boards on the market. This is NOT the same paper as the XL series bristol, nor the Comic art boards (formerly part of the Fan Boy series). This paper is super smooth, bright white, with great surface durability, and holds up to all ink.XL bristol's surface isn't the most durable, and the comic boards aren't as bright white or as smooth. This paper hits the mark.Ever since Canson stopped producing the Foundation and Artist Bristol boards, I was left only with products that just were inferior in one way or another. And the fact that this paper isn't readily available in the United States makes me sad.Please, Canson, either bring this to the States or bring back your Artist Series bristol boards. But until then, I will continue to buy this from this Amazon seller.

J adore l'épaisseur de ce papier ainsi que sa blancheur. J'utilise des posca dessus: les mines fines glissent dessus et la peinture sèche facilement. J'utilise aussi des pointes pitt: les couleurs ne sont pas bues par le papier... bref... c'est top!

I Canson sono una garanzia per illustrare, disegnare e colorare a inchiostro, chine ed ecoline. Sono resistenti e non si rovinano facilmente, spande bene il colore.Consigliato, la considero una delle marche migliori da provare. Evitate le tecniche ad acqua, non sono fogli per acquerello, esistono altri albo canson adatti per ogni genere artistico.Questo è ideale per tavole a fumetto e illustrazioni a secco.
