Product Description

Before replacing the o-ring, refer to the bottom of the sticker on of your Culligan filter housing. Two different o-ring sizes are enclosed:

- Sticker plates coded "Rev C" or higher, for models HF-150A, HF-360A, and Ace 45025 housings should use the smaller o-ring enclosed.

- Sticker plates coded "Rev A" or "Rev B" for models HF-150A and ALL other models (HF-160, HF-360, HF-365, Ace 45025, Ace 46764, Ace 49560) should use the larger o-ring enclosed.

Note: The o-ring labels seen in the picture are just for representation. The o-rings can be identified by their size difference in the package using the instructions above to determine the correct size for your filter.

The o-ring installation process is incredibly easy. To install the o-ring, remove the old o-ring and clean out the groove with a clean cloth. Lubricate the new o-ring with clean/new silicone grease. Press the o-ring into groove with two fingers, ensuring that it sits flat and level in the groove.

This item includes two (2) larger o-rings and two (2) smaller o-rings [4 o-rings total] in a resealable zip-top poly bag with "Captain O-Ring" branded packaging.

The diagram shows where there marked with an A or B to show the different sizes. WRONG! The packaging just states (2) 3-3/4 and (2) 3-7/8. Good luck trying to figure which is which except by trial and error.

Haven't used yet on my whole-house water filter system with Culligan housings, so 5 stars for now. I am glad that I read reviews about there being two different sizes in one package. Might be able to use the other set on something else.

Like the idea of both thicknesses being included so there is no problem with size. You just use the one that matches the old one. Much easier than having to do a return.

O-ring is advertised as size OR-34A, but I was sent OR-34 which is the wrong size - it is too small. It doesn't fit my water filter, so I had to return it. Now I have to purchase it somewhere else. Waste of my time.

I bought these o-rings and received them with no problem, I have to wait to see how well they fit because I just replace my filter, so I will keep you informed on what happens.
