This was a very expensive little part. The product description describes the repair as easy to install. It arrived okay, but now I'm stuck not knowing how to install it. Two tools came with the part -- a small screwdriver and a pry tool. There are no instructions included for how to use these tools to replace the part. It appears I will need to pry out the fins of the air vent, but I hesitate to do this without some instructions. It's strange that I can't find any information online about how to replace this part. So, I don't know yet whether this part will actually solve my broken ac vent knob stem problem. The part might be fine, yet I can't find how to install it. Why wouldn't the vendor provide some form of instructions on how to use the tools they included?
