First the product was very easy to install. Just plug it in and position it.Second The product is a little bit difficult to configure. There seems to be a lot of settings that need to be calibrated.Third, the film that sits on the window is dark and reflective from the outside. It's dark enough that I would have a concern that I might get pulled over for it.Fourth there's no simple way to adjust the brightness without entering the configuration mode. At least I haven't found a way to do that.I'm using the product in a 2003 Honda Element which is notorious for a dim speedometer. In this application this device works perfectly.

Nice bright unit. Secures with the sticky pad that comes with it. Accurate to 42 mph. Then it goes off by about 5%.No way to recalibrate it or to reset it. Because it plugs into the OED outlet it should be accurate at whatever speed I would recommend you continue looking for a different heads up display rather than purchasing this one.

The biggest problem I have experienced with these dash mounted displays are during the summer they get direct UV heat. I’ll throw a reflective screen on it when I park. The display is good, so bright you don’t need the reflective stick-on for the windshield. I wanted it generally for the tachometer as looking down to the car display at fast speeds is not recommended, unless you want the ditch.
