Are you annoyed that you don't spend enough time putting a license plate on your vehicle? This product turned what should be a 2 minute process into a 30 minute one, and that was for 2 screws, not 4. I will say the company provided me with plenty of hardware - 4 bolts, 8 washers, 4 caps & 4 cap inserts that theoretically hold the caps on. The bolts I found were necessary as the ones already holding my plate on are slightly shorter, and the "bubble" cover creates a need for longer bolts. The instructions, which could have included pictures that were clearer, said 1 or maybe 2 washers were needed if the caps don't click on with "big force" (the phrase used in the instructions). I started at 1, and kept adding washers till I was up to 4, and the caps still don't "click" (the term used in instructions) on. I then tried using a board to try and click it on, and still no dice. Since the caps easily clicked together when the two parts were not threaded through the bubble cover, I could only conclude the manufacturing of the bubble cover does not allow for the caps to snap on. As for the bubble cover, my Ohio license plate would not fit inside the edges of the cover. I wondered if Ohio plates are bigger, but my plate fits perfectly inside the rubbery silicone backing piece that comes with this item. The silicone piece has drain holes on what is supposed to be down side. However, given that the silicone piece doesn't fit inside the bubble cover, the drain holes are a bit of a mystery. It does create a cover for my license plate that almost fits. However, I have to think covers are out there that fit completely correctly, not almost. I am guessing these are just manufactured poorly and even though I didn't go for the cheapest option, I still got a cheaply made product. I can't recommend this product unless the first sentence of my review applies to you.

These appear to be very good covers. They take a little effort to install and my suggestion is to put the license plate in the plastic cover and then work the rubber back onto both the plastic cover and the license plate at the same time. Easier that way but you can do the license plate first and then cover, but takes more effort. They do seem to work well and protect your license plate and car paint/license plate holder very well. Only concern is will the plastic yellow over time.

Definitely love the silicone that use to protect the paint, easy to assemble, but the problems is the caps don’t fit for some reason and pops right off the screws and water gets inside of the plates due to the flaw design of the 2 screw slot in the bottom that’s not needed so no way to put in screw.

The rubber mat made the whole thing fit too tight and then the screws weren't long enough. I left the rubber mat off and it fit just fine. I guess I didn't need it after all... Lol

Image shows that the kit contains eight screw retainers (kind of self-threaded nuts), in addition to the standard set of frames, screws and screw caps. They would be very useful to attach plates to thin plastic. But in reality these nuts are missing. And they were the main reason to buy this particular kit.Revised review: e-Mailed seller about the issue. They immediately shipped missed parts, without asking any questions (it took ~10 days to arrive from China). They even included small gift as apologize for inconvenience. Very responsible and reliable seller. As far as frame itself, it looks reliable, plate fits nice and also looks nice with it.

I can’t stand driving around with the name of the dealership where I bought my car advertised on the license plate.I also don’t like license frames which demand attention. No rhinestones or mud flap girls for me.These frames don’t call too much attention to the vehicle. They are nice looking but in a subtle way.Easy to install and offer good protection to the vehicle and to the plate itself.I Also appreciate that the seller includes a very complete set of hardware for installation.Even extra plastic license nuts are included which is great because the dealer used a power driver to install the plate on my brand new vehicle and that stripped the factory nuts. All in all, am very pleased with this purchase and I’ll be ordering another set for my wife’s vehicle.

I bought a set for my vehicle (Acura ILX-TX Plates) and a second as a gift for a friend who just bought a new car (Mazda 3-CO Plates). These are compatible with both of our vehicles and plates and we both love them so far!I used the screws and caps that came in the kit for the front bumper because they fit my car’s license plate mount perfectly. My back bumper only has 2 screw holes on the top, and the screws were incompatible size-wise, so I just used my own original screws. However, if you’re super picky, there is a paper it came with that said you can contact them to have them send you a different size screw free of charge which is nice. [I left the caps off of the back bumper screws because I thought it looked better, and a little less “busy” on my car. Personal preference].I like these so much more than the flimsy plastic ones that rattle, or the bulky looking metal ones. It makes my car look much more clean, sleep, and “nicer”. It adds a nice minimalism and simplicity to the appearance of the vehicle. It has been pouring rain since I installed them, and (so far), the holes in the bottom for drainage are doing their job just fine.If I had ANYTHING negative to say (not that it bothers me in any way at all), it’s that they’re a tad wide. You have to be careful to center your plates well inside the frame before you attach it to your car. Mine aren’t perfectly centered but they’re completely secure.I would definitely recommend these! I’ll have to come back in 6 months and see how “weatherproof” they are. I’m in TX and it’s about to get reallllllly hot outside. We shall see!
