For Android system, it can be synced to the car screen via phone's original USB cable or phone's hotspot for bidirectional control.
Android USB Wired Connection: 1) Connect your phone to USB port of car stereo with original USB cable; 2) Find your phone developer options and open "USB debugging"; 3) Open TIMA app, then you could realize bidirectional control between your phone and car stereo
Android Wireless Connection: 1) Open mobile phone portable hotspot; 2) Select hotspot name in the head unit and connect; 3) Open TIMA app; 4) Click "Start" immediately

Some Sweet Tips
1. The radio comes with CANBUS BOX, which requires you to go to the settings to manually match, and its function is to preserve the original car information display.
Path: Settings - Factory Settings (Password 8888) - Protocol settings
Please select the brand of the protocol box first (usually there will be brand-related information on the surface of the protocol box, and then select your model information to complete the matching.
2. For Steering Wheel Control, please go to "Steering Learn" in the settings to learn and match the keys.
3. The radio comes with a 12 LEDs backup camera, please install it according to the below wiring.

They give you a print out with pictures but no actual steps. And the link they give you for instructions is the same pictures provided in the box, again with no informational steps stating what goes where

Worked in my jeep patriot for 2 months maybe less then the screen started acting up like freezing as if you needed to close an app. I reset it and ok fixes it then it got to the point even resetting it didn’t fix the frozen screen so luckily I got my phone connected to it cause I can’t use the screen and the only way I can play music is if I reset it and connect my Bluetooth. If I just turn my jeep on the screen lights up but can’t click on anything.

There are no instructions. The video will get you started. Plug in the main harness and the unit will power on and the speakers with work. I have a 2014 Jeep Compass. No steering wheel controls. I did not install the backup camera. I used my stock antenna. Dont plug in the harnesses you wont use. It will interfere with the radio reception and make the bluetooth music "skip". Im old so I still like physical downloaded music and videos on my phone. The only add-on harness I used was the one with for the usb in. I drilled a hole on top and fished the usb cable through. I plugged in a usb flash drive loaded with mp3 music and mp4 videos. Select flash drive in the video icon and select flash drive in the music icon to play. The usb also acts as a slow charger. Note the BT music icon is different and this accesses the physical music on my phone via bluetooth. Lastly, the new face plate has fewer tabs/fasteners than the stock one. The 3 tabs on top are the primary fasteners on the new unit and it feels that there is nothing securing it on the bottom by the climate control knobs. To fix this, go to the stock face plate and remove 2 metal clips that are on each of the plastic tabs. Use a flat head. Then put one clip on each plastic tab on the new face plate by the climate control unit. This will make the new face plate really secure.

I installed the Roinvou Android Car Radio Stereo in my 2016 Jeep Compass, and overall, I’m happy with the upgrade. The 10.1-inch display is crisp and responsive, and the wireless Apple CarPlay is a fantastic feature that adds a lot of convenience. It connects quickly and works seamlessly, making it easy to access my apps without the hassle of plugging in cables.That said, the instructions included with the unit were a major downside. They were vague and not very beginner-friendly. If you’re not a bit tech-savvy or experienced with car stereo installations, it might be a frustrating process. Thankfully, with some patience and online resources, I was able to get everything set up.Once installed, though, it performs really well. The sound quality is great, and the interface is smooth. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking to modernize your vehicle’s stereo system, but be prepared for a bit of trial and error during installation.
