I bought this to put in the back seat on the floor of my husband’s truck for our road trip. It was really handy to just reach back and drop your wrappers or whatever into the can. It was nice that it came with the appropriate sized garbage bags too. There are “grippers” on the bottom to stick to carpeting, but his truck has rubber mats. Despite this, the trash can does a good job at staying in place. Now I need one for my vehicle!

The mat the trashcan is attached to has weight to it and keeps the trash can exactly where you place it, even with sharp curves and hard breaking. Not the biggest can, but will get you through a road trip for sure.

Okay so since I've had this gray over-the-hump auto garbage can for over 6 months now, I feel like I've had it long enough to be sure about it.I use this garbage bin on the hump that separates the back seat. It's come in handy to be able to drop garbage into it instead of hanging an unsightly grocery store garbage on my gearshift or stuffing the garbage in the side pocket of my door while promising myself that I'll clean and disinfect the door later.So I got this and it's definitely worth the money! It's sturdy, the garbage bags that it came with fit snugly in the bin and the bin doesn't move...and when I say it doesn't move, I mean it. The flaps on the bottom of the bin that lay on either side of the separator have short plastic spikes on them so as long as you have carpet in your car then the spikes willl help to keep the bin in place. It also appears that the weight of the bin stay in place too because it doesn't move no matter how sharp of a turn you make!The other pro (which looks like is no longer the case) is that it came with a pack of gray 1.4 gallon drawstring plastic bags that matched the color of the bin that I bought. This gave it a very clean, uncluttered look. But now when I look on Amazon I don't see those same garbage bags so I'm not sure how much I'll like it when my supply runs out. However, if aesthetics is not an issue for you and you purchased the gray garbage bin, then the black bags will work out for you. All in all, it was worth the purchase.
