Standard diameter arrow shafts are great for hunting because they penetrate better than the fat-shaft arrows. My shafts are 400 spine. These are made tough and can take a beating when hunting with small game points that hit the ground. I cut mine to 29" (nock to carbon end), and with 3.5" feather fletching to work with my 28.5" draw and a variety of hunting points. Used 100 grain field points to test and shot very tight groups from 50+ yards, all effectively kill shots. These built out to 370 grains and work well in my 55lb draw bow, giving a decent 270 FPS arrow speed for senior ASA shooting.

I finally broke enough of my old carbon impact arrows to necessitate buying new arrows. After some research, I was pretty set on these Maxima Red's. I've been 100% impressed with these arrows and plan to shoot them for years to come! Very good groupings with them. The fit and finish are excellent, great attention to detail.Lastly, These arrows look awesome when matched with the Bohning blood splatter arrow wraps and fletchings!

Great arrows, but I returned them as I didnt want to fletch them. I went with the 6 pack with fletching included and these are deadly arrows

Carbon express makes a great product. These where nice and allowed for some customization on fletching things. Love the product shoots true and quality materials as always.

I like these very much. They are the best arrows I have shot and the penetration is awesome compared to similar arrows with plain shafts. I will use these for my hunting arrows until they quit making them or find something better which I doubt will be any time soon.

Best arrows for hunting or 3-d shooting. It’s hard to find a more true or balanced arrow with out building your own. 350 spline works great in a bow with 60 to 70 pound draw weight.

I started out shooting cheap shop arrows, then one day decided to try these after seeing them in so many hunting videos. The difference was astounding, they are so quiet, and they just feel really good and strong upon release. Granted, I've only been shooting for 2 years now and only tried about three different arrows, but these felt so incredible I never wanted to try anything else. This year I hit a tiny deer at 82 yrds right through the lungs and heart.

I ended up returning these because, I did not realize that they were uncut. I went and bought the pre cut ones for about the same price as these and then after a little adjusting of my bow they shoot great. It took a couple of weeks of practicing with them to get a good feel for them but now my groupings and closer together then they have ever been.

I'll never use another arrow. The red zone makes these arrows fly straighter and faster than any other arrow I have used. At 40 yards I can put 6 arrows in a 4 inch group. They are offered in 2 shaft weights that covers a range from 40 to 90 lbs draw weight. That is pretty impressive.
