The color on this splitter is almost more sparkle than it is black. The fit is good though and I think it's a good price considering that the OEM splitter is thousands of dollars. It looks more gray than carbon flash black, so just be aware of that. Still looks good in the sun from a few feet away.

Not even close to the color carbon flash. It is way too much flake and way too light.

I was excited to upgrade the current splitter on my C8 HTC Z51 with one painted in carbon flash. When I pulled it out of the package, I found the ABS plastic to feel cheap and the paint job was terrible. Its hardly carbon flash and more sparkly than the OEM carbon flash parts on my car. Needless to say it did not match at all so never bothered putting it on. Also there were paint runs on the parts and joining them did not work well as the seams just looked off.

This splitter looks great. The carbon flash matches near identical. It mounts into the current screws on the bumper so no additional drilling is necessary. Overall it is a great value for the cost.

This carbon flash painted splitter is a great addition to your C8 Corvette, especially if you didn't originally have one on the front of your vehicle. It is painted in 'Carbon Flash Metallic', however, it has a larger metal flake than OEM and is a slightly more 'silver' shade than the 'blue' shade that the OEM Carbon Flash Metallic has in it from the factory.If you compare it to an OEM (bare plastic) splitter that I had on my vehicle originally, you can see that the edges and the joining points are a lot more rounded where they meet than the OEM one. However, if you never had an OEM splitter to compare to, then this is a great addition to you vechile. It fits well, puts together quickly with 4 included fasteners and then there are 21 screws to hold it on along the upper edge. If you have the right tools (I had used an electric screwdriver with a 90 degree angled adapter on it) you can have this installed in about 15 mins easily. You don't even have to lift the vehicle or anything like that, direct mount to the front. Simple!Overall, a nice addition to the car, especially if you didn't have a splitter previously, and just note that the 'Carbon Flash Metallic' paint is slightly more silver than OEM.
