Forged pipe fittings adhere to industry standards such as ASME B16.11, MSS-SP-79, MSS-SP-83, MSS-SP-95, MSS-SP-97, and BS3799. These fittings find common use in heavy industries subjected to high pressure and extreme conditions, serving as connectors between nominal bore pipes. The term "forged pipe fitting" stems from the manufacturing process, involving the heating of alloy steel or carbon to high temperatures before casting it into the desired shape. This process results in a finer grain size, enhancing strength and resistance to external impacts. In contrast to other pipe fittings, forged fittings feature thicker walls to withstand working pressures of up to 3000 or 6000 PSI. To facilitate easy identification, these fittings are marked with information such as size, material, and pressure class. This specific forged fitting, a full coupling or pipe coupling, serves to extend pipelines and connect small bore pipes of varying sizes, often referred to simply as a pipe coupling. It is constructed from carbon steel material A105 and adheres to the ASME B16.11 standard. Its maximum working pressure stands at 3000 PSI and it features one NPT end and one socket weldeed end,
