The The carburetor was delivered quickly. The carburetor was as described. The carburetor was easily installed with just a few tools. The snowblower runs great now.

I installed this carburetor and primer on a non-starting Toro 518ZE snowblower. Mission accomplished: Snowblower started right up after a few priming pumps, ran smoothly.There were a few slight frustrations. The biggest was that the fitting for the gas line on the new carburetor was slightly lower than on the original one. I had to enlarge the cutout where the gas line goes through the plastic shroud as shown in the picture - a couple snips with a diagonal cutter. The other was that the holes on the replacement spacer block that goes between the carb and engine block were a little too small to clear all of the mounting studs. Not a big deal, I reused the old spacer. Those don't tend to wear out or get damaged anyway. On the 518ZE there's no room to fit the included fuel filter nor was there a filter originally. I saved that for another use.A fine, economical fix that got the little snowblower back on the job, ready for the next blizzard. 5 stars!
