These are half a inch taller than the original intake boots on my '01 vstar 650. That half a inch didn't allow the intake to properly on top of the carb and that S shaped tube that goes to the dogbowl will Not fit. The original is already a tight fit, if these were half inch to a quarter inch shorter I would've been able to use these. Also the intake nipple on one of them came straight out, so I'll have to super glue it back into place. I still plan on keeping these for whenever I do a Pod kit. It's unfortunate I couldn't replace my cracked vacuum leaking OEM intake boots. Whenever I do the pod kit in the future I'll update my review, until then I don't recommend it

Exactly the same as the stock ones that came off it. Had to re-glue the brass fittings back into the rubber as one came loose during fitment

These suck. On two different set I had to silicone all 4 "niples" because the crap glue that comes on it breaks and the niples fall out. This happened 3 minutes after installing them.Buy something better

2002 yamaha vstar. Had cracked boots runs much better now. They are not perfect but with a little wiggling you can make them work.
