Quick and easy install. Works great, no more ticking turns. Let's see how long it lasts but I've had good luck with Cardone parts.

I bought this for a 2010 Golf and the dealers (even online) wanted almost $300 for a rebuilt unit with a $200 core charge! I am so glad I bought this instead! It fit perfectly and works great, saved a lot of time and money. Even if it is some how lower quality (and there is no reason to believe that) and it fails prematurely, well the OEM unit only lasted 80, 000 miles so... I would have to replace this one several times before it would be a bad deal, and I highly doubt the quality is any different based on my experience and having both in hand. For a fraction of the cost it is hard to lose, don't get ripped off by the dealers!

I installed this in my 2007 VW Rabbit a few weeks ago. My only problem was the locking clip on the shaft that goes into the transmission had a sharp edge and I could not get it to snap into the transmission. I simply removed the clip from the old shaft and put it on this one and it popped right in. Everything is great now, and NO VIBRATION like I read about in other reviews.

Works like the original and at a budget price! Took some finagling to get it on but it bolted up with no problems. Comes with a new bolt so you wont have to deal with the pesky oem torx bolt!
