I do not blame Amazon for this problem because if you go to the Oriellys auto parts website you can find this same exact throttle body. Same pictures, same brand, same part number. IT DOES NOT FIT. The vehicle placement thing will tell you that it fits your vehicle. (mine was a 1999) But the linkages for the throttle and cruise are all different and the edge the bolts against the intake is not shaped the same either. Im sure this throttle body fits some ford but it didn't go on my 4.2 V6 like it said it would. Do your research, we discovered theres a lot of things you can't find anymore for the 4.2 v6.
