That's why they don't show any food in it. It's too flat to even hold ketchup. It's definitely not a ramekin.

The material quality is PERFECT on these ramikens. I use these as feeding bowls for my rabbits, they typically chew their bowls in a week or two. These have withstood their chewing and still look new.

I like that these are taller and less wide than the clear ones I purchased at W-mart years ago. The jet black is a nice look. Also my elderly mother uses these for her pills in the morning and the dark opaque color makes it easier to see them.

Very functional and perfect size we have used them to hold catch up specially with the grand kids also good for salad dressing and I did my fork in the dressing in this container instead of putting it on the salad saving me calories at least that's what I tell myself. Only slight thing as I thought they were ceramic and they're not I'm going to hand wash them but they certainly appear to be re usable and as described
