I purchased two of these kits to rebuild my brake calipers, everything seemed to be fine until I got to the last seal….. I tried and tried and tried to get it in the cylinder but just could not get it to work so I compared it to one of the old seals and the new one was a lot bigger. One of the kits not only had two different size seals but the kits DO NOT come with lube or a snap ring for the dust boot…GO OEM!!!

Perfect for restoring of the 05 Tundra DC 13WL brake calipers, bought this along with new pins and bleeders to restore my worn out calipers and they were a perfect fit

Toyota does not sell remanufactured calipers. $550 for a new one for this truck. I have never rebuilt a caliper before but decided for the few dollars for this kit I would try. EASY EASY repair!!!!!!Wish I had known two years ago when the drivers side seized. Worked like a charm. Clean everything really good and self bleeder or a friend to bleed brakes. easy repair.

I destroyed mine when I had to use heat on the brake pad pins. I knew the pistons were OK so I wasn't about to shell out $$$ for new calipers. Just my $.02 but I do recommend using caliper lube on the pistons, it makes a world of difference. Don't use brake fluid or regular grease because they can retain moisture. Only negative to this item is I couldn't get them locally.
