I used this product on both the front and rear brakes of Subaru Outbacks. Given the way Outbacks are driven, moisture invades moving parts.I used a lot of silicone-based grease. This rubber fits tight but one should not skimp on the grease. I did not try it with non-silicone greases because they previously damaged/swelled the rubber for me.Remember that grease sold for external brake parts such as shoes, is not recommended for brake internals.

These did not fit my application. I'm sure they're good for what they do fit, but if you need something like this, just drive to the dealership and get them so they're guaranteed to fit. Not worth taking the chance on a cheap part if you need to fix your car. They're rubber boots. They're cheap at the dealer and you get on the spot confirmation of fit.

The small rubber grommet fit perfect on 2007 Honda Pilot rear breaks but the rubber boots are totally the wrong size and did not use them.

Perfect fit for the rear brakes on a 2004 Honda Pilot. The pin boot and caliper sleeves had not been changed in over 14 years, and after this amount of time the caliper sleeve had expanded to the point that the caliper pin would not easily slide in the bracket. This new kit resolved that problem.
