This palm nailer has performed very well when I need it to. The impact strength is more than sufficient, the air consumption is low, and the compact nature of the tool makes it easy to carry around. With regular oiling, this has yet to give me a single problem.

Lots of vibration on hand, but that is to be expected. Does its job.

Very happy with this palm sander, have used it for some time before reviewing. Durable and great for those hard to reach places, slow and steady action give good control. I used it to add joist handers on a finished flooring and it worked great! Now I find myself using it in every place I have a tight spot for swing room or when you really need controlled nailing. I could see this as useful in starting a screw in some circumstances, but haven't found the need yet.

A friend of mine has one of these, and it was impressive watching him put up some 1x6's with it. It's a fast way to sink many nails. The only downside is that it is loud when driving the nail. I wear ear protection. It is well worth the money and saves time.

This is an amazing took that I am very thankful to have discovered. This thing belongs in the hall of fame for amazing inexpensive tools you never knew you could have.If this only lasts through a room remodel-- I will buy another. No problem! It won't take long for it to pay for itself. It wouldn't quite take my roofing nail heads-- but hey-- it beat them in anyway. Amazing! I think I could grind just a hair of the heads if I was trying to do some nailing under other shingles to make them fit into the hammer right.I drove about 20 three inch nails tonight without any problem. Some went down in a second flat. Others took more like threee or four seconds.

The Palm Nailer is smaller and lighter than expected, however works great. It drove a 3 1/4 inch nail thru 2x6 very easy. The tool is easy to operate and has a magnet to hold the nail. The noise level is high enough that ear protection is recommended. As with all new air tools, it was oiled and operated.

*UPDATED*While this item was missing the dust cap and oil, I've increased the rating to 4 stars. It worked really well with galvanized nails in PT lumber. For the price, you really can't beat this. I had a few issues with it early as I learned how to use it (particularly with pressure being too low when attaching the tool to the air hose - my own fault). Overall, this did the job I needed it to for a low cost. I would also recommend using ear protection when using this tool as it is quite loud. Keep it oiled and it will do great. As other reviews have stated, its incomplete. No dust cap or oil was included. Not sure if they are repackaging used units or not. I'll update the review for better or worse after I get oil and use it. Other than that, it seems sturdy and should help with tight spots.
