Overall seems like a good product but it is definitely not cut properly. We have a rug that is actually was going to be 1inch larger all the way around. The pad is but bigger which is fine but definetly not cut properly.

The pad works great under my 7'9" x 10' jute rug. It was easy to trim to the size of my rug--after several measurements to determine that the grip dots were parallel to the edges, I used them as a guide to trim a few inches off the length and width. I did the trimming with scissors in just a few minutes. It does add a little bit of softness to the rug, but I bought it primarily for its non-skid character. When two dogs (100 pounds and 80 pounds) run on the rug, which is on a hardwood floor, it stays in place (and it didn't stay in place before I had the pad.)

This is a great pad to keep your rug in place and extend the life of your rug. It gives a little cushion but nothing too high and it's definitely not bouncy. If you are looking for something a little more foamy or bouncy underneath your rug, this is probably not the product for you. However it is really good for non-slip and to give some protection under your rug on wood floors.
