The only reason for the 4• is because of the wrapping sticks to one side causing the tape to pull odd on that side crinkling some of the edge of the tape up. Did waste a bit until I figured out a way around it. I did use it for two items in my truck I was not sure it would help but did with both. First the floor mat on the driver side was sideways every time I would get out not it stays in place and secondly the seat covers I put on my truck seats were always sliding around when I got in and out but not anymore. Of course it works for the intended reasons. If only the wrapping on the outside were not an issue it would easily get 5•.

ForHauz Carpet tape double sided carpet tape for area rugs non slip gripper 2” x 10 yards. This arrived just as pictured. I was annoyed that there were no directions included so I was a little skeptical about the application process. The tape is indeed double-sided, however. Once you apply a strip to the back of your rug or mat and cut it, it is then easy to peel off the backing. It sticks well to my lvp flooring and has not lifted up so far. I’m curious long this will last. I applied this to a rug in my hallway, which my cat seems to keep tossing whenever she likes when she gets the zoomies at 2AM. I tried some of those 3M carpet stickers but they only lasted a month. I hope this tape lasts much longer. It seems to be a bit on the thin side, but it’s very sticky and there’s a lot in the roll if I need to reapply. I will update here in the future if I have anything else to add.

This is a 2" wide by 30 yards long roll of carpet tape from ForHauz. I got this to hold my area rug in place in my front room, because the robot vacuum gets hung up on it if it's not taped down. The area rug is on top of brand new carpeting. I've used silicone-based carpet tape on this rug in the past, and didn't realize how different this ForHauz carpet tape would be. First it was virtually impossible to get all the plastic wrap off of the roll. There is actually still some on there but I was able to get to the point where I could use it. This tape is very, very thin, and very, very sticky, which makes it hard to work with. I cut a test piece about 8" long, but when I went to apply it to the back of my rug it ended up stuck to itself. I eventually did get a piece affixed to my rug and put it down on the carpet. When I peeled the rug back to check it, this tape remained stuck to the carpet (not the rug). When I tried to remove the piece of tape from my carpet, it was very difficult to the point where I was concerned this tape would damage my carpet. I did finally remove it, but now I'm afraid to use this tape on the carpet long-term for fear it would cause permanent damage. I hope to find other uses for it where it won't cause damage, but it is too risky to do what I expected it to do.

This carpet tape means business. My rug in my kitchen is always slipping around so I usually keep it taped down but every time I do my dog gets nervous and has an accident. I waited and slipped on the rug enough I had confidence his tummy was solid and taped the rug down. That night my dog of course had an accident on the rug and I had to pull it up to wash it and this carpet tape pulled up the tiles with it. I also used this to tape down my welcome mats at the doors by my wood floors so I pulled them up to check if they would survive and they came up with no damage to the floor or rug so maybe it was just time for my tile to go however no carpet tape in the past has done this. easy to put down and you get a pretty big roll for the cost.

My boyfriend had a really old dry rotted carpet that his family still use because they love it so much. (We couldn't find another one for them) So I bought this tape to mostly tap the 2 ripped pieces back together and it worked great! This tape is very strong. It was so easy to use and didn't leave a mess. Definitely worth the price!The only problem I had was the stupid plastic that was wrapped around this was stuck to it but after fighting with that it was so worth it. That's how I knew the stickiness was very good!

I got the double sided carpet tape in the 3 inch x 30 yard size. I need the tape to secure the couple of rugs I have around my house. The rugs are on tile so they’re always shifting when someone steps on them. The double sided tape is clear and the adhesive is very strong. The sticky adhesive doesn’t give room for errors so I would recommend placing the adhesive to the rug first and marking where to place the rug on the floor to make sure everything lines up as close to perfect as possible. 30 yards is way more than I need so I’ll be sharing this tape with other family members.

ForHauz Carpet Tape, Double Sided is a good price and it is working superb, using it on a tile floor for a large area rug.
