Thankful part number clear on older Carter pump so I could get a direct-fit replacement mechanical fuel pump for one that was previously installed on 60's Caprice.BUT suddenly pressure from this fuel pushed too much fuel through system just within weeks of installation but unfortunately for us the return window closed by that time so now it's just a paperweight. Can't recommend to anyone else, will explore other fuel delivery options, for now we put the old ffuel pump back on.
