Nice works well. Adjustable foam insert to change from single or double stack magazines. One small issue, it would be nice if you didn’t have to buy a separate kit to make it lockable. Locking kit doesn’t cost much, but you do need a drill, drill bit and time.

I was thinking of ordering custom foam for my SKB hard cases but decided to try this instead. I gotta say that it works great for me! You can run it as 2 pistols in their holsters or with holsters loose. I originally put in a P250-22C and an M&P22C with two 100rd clear square boxes of .22LR (the boxes acted as barrel rests too). More recently, I started putting my G19 (upside down) & G26 (barrel down) into one side and put my G21 (though I'm sure most other full-size and competition pistols would work fine) into the other side. Again, depending on what you have, I'm sure you could fit in 4 pistols touching only plastic-to-plastic.If you're really ambitious, I'm sure you could make either a diagonal or a fitted cut on the foam removed from each pocket to provide additional padding as well as concealment of the two pistols below. Might be a cool way to keep your 40's separate from your 9's.The only possible drawback I can see is that they didn't include any double-sided tape or adhesives if you wanted to mount the foam in there. But that's not hard either--get a can of 3M spray adhesive or a 10oz tube and you can attach the eggrate foam to the lid so it doesn't get lost. Just make sure you use something that's designed for paint, metal, and foam.

I carry two pistols to the range, one revolver and one semiauto. Both of them are too long to fit barrel-down like the pictures, but they will sit with the barrels level. A little cutting of the gun cutouts will support them better. That is why Case Club ships them. For all you one-star givers, the magazine cutouts are provided so you can either pull them out, plug the cutouts completely, or cut them and push them to the bottom so your magazines don't fall to the bottom. The bottom piece provided should be thicker, hence my four star rating. This foam fits my Harbor Freight and WalMart ammo cans. The gun pockets are wide enough that I can put my revolver in with the cylinder out. If your magazines are small, you can store two in each cutout. You seriously can't make something yourself that looks as professional as this for the price Case Club charges.

Foam works great, fits nice and snug in a fat .50 Ammo can. Downside is the cost, had to knock off 2 stars.

, fits perfectly into the Case Club 50 Cal Ammo Can. Holds one or two pistols comfortably secured and surrounded by sturdy foam. The unique thing about this foam holder is that it has easy to push out inserts so that you can modify it to your needs. If you only have one gun, then only one insert has to be removed. If you want to include some magazines(4), then there are removable inserts for these as well. In addition to the foam mold, a soft pad is included to place at the bottom of the can and a cushion is included to place on top of the pistols. This securely holds the pistols and avoids any potential damage or scratches due to contact with the metal can. So once the lid is closed, the pistols will not move or slide around or make noise, whether placed upright or upside down or sideways. Fits like a glove. A good accessory for the Ammo Can. Glad I ordered this with my ammo cans.Only one drawback, and only a minor one, is that the pistol inserts seem to accommodate two medium to large (and of course smaller) semi-autos, but I could not get my S&W 357 Mag. to fit along with my XDM. The remedy would be to carve out some of the foam to make the 357 fit. Not a problem. Good purchase if you want your pistols to transport securely.

This is a combined review of the Case Club Pistol & Magazine foam kit for both the & . The Case Club foam kit fits new or surplus ammo cans. It does not include the ammo can. These kits do not fit what is commonly known as the .The Case Club foam fits most all compact 9mm, 40 cal, and 45 cal pistols sitting upright. Full size Government model 45ACP must be place in up side down, resting on the slide. Pistols with scopes wont fit. Long slide/barrel 22 cal pistols wont fit (S&W 22A, Ruger Mark II 22/45 Bull Barrel), while short slide/barrel 22's will fit (Ruger SR22, Ruger Mark III 22/45 Lite, Walther P22).The top foam piece fits well and does not interfere with the gasket of the Ammo Can. It needs to be attached to the underside of the lid with double sided tape or hot glue. The removable foam cutouts can be used to support the pistol and protect the sights or slide. A previous review noted the foam sags over time with use of loaded mags. The magazine foam cutouts can be trimmed and replaced back into the hole so a loaded mag can be supported by the bullet/feed lips end and not the base plate. The base pad is only 1/4 inch thick but combined with the steel mili surplus ammo can it should give more that enough protection. You can use trigger locks or cable locks on each gun with this foam kit. Ammo cans can be locked with a long shackle lock without having to drill into them. When use with a steel military ammo can with a good seal, you have a strong watertight indestructible gun storage for use at the range or in the field. For long storage you could add , or .I own 3 of these and will purchase more. Just waiting for Case Club to make them to fit the Fat 50 ammo can.
