The Ruger LCR fits perfectly in the case. The case holds the LCR very securely and the holes for the extra cartridges hold the cartridges securely. This is a very nice case.

This is perfect for a Ruger LCR 38 special handgun. My original Ruger LRC grip on my handgun was changed and my new grip is slightly longer. I had to remove a small piece of the installation at the end of the grip area within the case in order for it to fit more properly. Not a deal breaker, but I wanted to let those who have changed the original grip of their handgun, you will have to make a minor adjustment for a proper fit. I purchased the smaller size case, but there is a 9-inch that maybe would be designed to fit maybe the longer grip. Maybe the manufacturer could cover this in a video for those who have longer grips on their guns. It would be nice to know and show with the larger case. The case is great for carrying to the range and is TSA approved. It also stands upright to save on storage space in your gun safe when it's locked up. There are 3 holes for you to add an external TSA-approved combination lock. Mine worked fine with the case. I highly recommend this case.Update: My rubber seal inside the case around the top lid that makes the case water tight comes out easily and lays lose across the top of the hole where the gun is inserted. I believe this puts this case at risk of leaking ,Etc. I hope the vendor can do something to make it a tighter fit. The seal in this case seems to be too lose.
