I bought this for one of my cats to have a SAFE bath, but it made it WORSE! He doesn't bite or scratch ME but he's come close to injuring himself trying to 'escape' throughout the entire bath. He started having skin issues and before things progressed, the vet recommended an oatmeal bath. I was a groomer for 7 years but the set up and tools I would use at an actual grooming salon are not available to me at home. So when I saw this, it seemed it was perfect for keeping him safe during the bath. He allowed me to put it on him (slowly). Once it was on him and I put him in the sink, he was already squeezing his paw up thru the neck whole - which was properly tightened. I used the small zipper opening at the bottom, meant for releasing paws during a bath, to pull his paw back into the bag. I couldn't tighten the neck area anymore without choking him - AND when I tried to use the handle to turn him around, it put MORE restriction on his throat. All this before the water was even introduced! I finally got him situated & sitting still so I poured a little water on him and within seconds he had BOTH his front paws through the neck hole and was using his back claws on the mesh (still inside the bag) to pull himself further out the smallest hole until both front legs were completely out and past his shouldes. Now the neck hole is SQUEEZING around chest! I had loosened the drawings but the opening is stitched too tight. Thankfully I had the nail clippers within reach and had to use them to cut the stitched seems of the neck holes and tear open the mesh down to the center zipper to release his chest area so he could breath freely. I'm thankful I have past experience with grooming difficult cats and that I had the nail clippers close by to cut thru the stitching to tear the back open. If this was my first time (or a novice at) bathing a difficult cat, he could have been seriously injured or worse. PLEASE - if you still decide to buy this, have another person with you and be prepared to remove it quickly if your cat starts to freak out. It could end very badly if you're not. Good luck

This has helped so much. I hate to give my cat a bath. This makes it easier to do so. Great value for the price.

I wasn’t confident this would help but OMG absolutely amazing for me (not for the cat). Not one scratch with this. 5 stars from me (-5 from Ollie)

Great price for whole set. There’s nothing good about giving a cat a bath but this set helps.

It’s a good idea. But my cat is too strong. Gets his nails hooked in the material and is able to work himself out. Easier to bathe him without this!

This worked well, but you definitely need to make a simple knot behind the adjuster. My cat wiggled so much that it loosened and he got out of the bag. I put him back in and tied it and that was that. Doesnt lend itself to a good belly wash, so make sure you focus extra wash there, because when i took him out of the bag to dry him, any gleas he had and dirt and grime was allllll over his belly.

This really helped restrain my cat during her bath, otherwise she would’ve ran right out of the tub. It was kind of hard to get her inside of it and I felt like it was kind of suffocating her. I think the neck hole should be bigger. And she’s not even a big cat. She would’ve hated her bath regardless so I am glad that I was able to give her one without having to struggle too hard on my end.
