The price was great for a set of stairs. I like having them wrapped in jute. It prevents slipping and gives an area to scratch.My negatives are that the top step broke in the first week. My cat is 18 lbs and it couldn't hold his weight. I would recommend gluing all the steps when you install them.

Super flimsy & loose tried several times and didn’t stay in the wall. My cat jumped up and it fell and scared him rly bad. The cat shaped shelves with the bed that comes with that is one of the top cat shelf options here on Amazon has stayed in the wall and has been working although I would suggest getting 2 if ur cat is bigger bc they’re a little small for big cats but they’re sturdy! I wouldn’t reccomend buying this at all

I was very excited to receive this item, because I know that a lot of people are really raving about this product. I have installed this, but it seems like it's not sturdy at all, and I am so afraid that my cat will fall to his death using this product! The wood is very soft so when you screw things in, the screw actually goes through the wood like butter, and having this anchored through wall, obviously that's not something that you're looking for. While the anchors provided were pretty good, or at least could have been good, the screws were not catching on to it! The screws that they gave were too small for the anchors! It does look very pretty once it's set up but it moves and it jingles, so I'm going to have to put my own reinforcements like an L bracket or another screwing mechanism, or in fact I might just copy paste the design and cut the wood myself! Anyway, I think it's a good product for very lean cats or kittens but definitely not for a chonky boi.

These steps and shelves were easy to set up and install, my cats were trying to use them as I was trying to install them, so obviously they love them.The only thing is I had to add 3/4 inch L brackets to each step since the wood is just pine and too loose without that extra support.

Cats love them but they are a bit flimsy. If you have a bigger cat, I would not recommend these at all

My cat doesn’t mind climbing these and he will scratch on them. They went together really easy and attached to the wall with no problem.

The original product I ordered was delivered without screws or drywall screws, so I was unable to assemble the wall stairs and had to request an exchange. The second order delivered without the assembly parts as well, but did include a screwdriver. I’m returning this product for a refund.Other than the order mishaps, the build quality seems fine and the packaged smell disappeared after airing the pieces out for a couple of days. However, I cannot test the actual usage, since I can’t assemble the stairs at all.

I installed them a day ago! And they are falling appart from my cat climbing on them twice.They are cute, but not sturdy at all. Very disappointed.

Works great, just ensure you screw the steps on tight enough as it easily comes loose otherwise

These have worked very well. My only complaint is that, finally after about 5 months of use, a kitten was able to remove the rope from one of the stairs. I used hot glue to put it back on.I really like how you can make them slant up or down & you can put the stairs on either side of the base so it can be flush against any wall.The pegs of the stairs are solid & fit snug in the holes making them very sturdy. I foster kittens so they've been used by small/smaller kitties only but they're used a whole lot by multiple kittens.
