The idea was good but it did not work for my kitten. She was off balance with the large collar around her. I think it would be a better purchase for a larger cat rather than my smallish kitten.

*(SIZE MEDIUM IN PICTURE BELOW FOR REFERENCE)*If your looking for a very lightweight and thin cone for your pet this is a great option. I would highly recommend this item if you need something inexpensive thats also sturdy for your pet!

Unlike a cone of shame, this is a disc and looks a bit like a elizabethan ruff! It pops up and can be .ace much smaller for storage which is very handy. This will come into great use when out kitten gets spayed in a few weeks.I like that you can tighten the neck with a toggle.

Far too small even for a cat. Will not stop from licking hind quarters.

Within the first 20 minutes he got it off. Nothing I did helped, or prevented him from getting it off.Which is too bad, because he was still able to climb and eat and walk uninhibited 😮💨

I wanted this to work. It kind of does it the kitties wound is higher up on body I suppose but if it's down near bottom or tail area, they can still turn and lick.

I got this because we had a cat who had gotten spayed and was licking her incision. I had tried the traditional cone with her, but I thought this might be more comfortable. If you have a big open space where your cat is going to be, it would probably work well. But we live in a smaller home and because this thing sticks out perpendicular to her head, she kept getting stuck trying to go around furniture. The "cone" gives but our cat could never quite figure out how to turn her head sideways to go through smaller spaces. I also had trouble getting it tight enough around her neck (without feeling like I was strangling her) to keep it on longterm. It's well-made and the idea is good, but it just didn't work well for us.

Very lightweight fabric with a stiff wire frame and a very comfortable neck opening that can be adjusted. I like the lightweight fabric but I found this no more useful than the usual cones. Kitty still struggled to drink from water dish and even though the girth seemed appropriate for our kitty, the overall width of the disc seemed too large. The ribbed neck opening is very soft and easily adjusted with a toggle tie; this is definitely the best part of this product. Kitty has been able to remove kitty cones in the past and she was unable to do that with this product so it served its post-surgery purpose.

My only complaint is that the circumference seems a little too big. It almost touches the ground when my cat walks, and it keeps bumping her feet. The part around her neck doesn't seem to bother her much.I would still recommend this product. We tried the onesies, and she really hated that. This seems to be a better fit.

The timing of our cats’ spay surgery was terrible and smack in the middle of a major heat wave. We don’t have central air and with a pretty big house, window units don’t totally cut it.We tried recovery suits and the cloud-like collars and she was suffering of heat. This collar has been such a relief for her and her energy is up! Less suffering and she looks beautiful doing it. Protects her from licking her stitches and we are so happy

I needed something for my cat other than those cone shaped collars which he will not tolerate. This little flat collar worked perfect for me while cutting his claws. He seemed a little confused by it and so while he was trying to figure it out, I trimmed his claws without him hardly noticing me do it. He struggled a bit to see what I was doing but it was much easier to work on his toes with this little flat collar on. He never even tried to bite me like he usually does!

Water fountain is great however I wish there was a clear spot on side to let you know the water level instead of having to open top to view.
