My feelings are mixed on this product. You attach a Velcro strip to the inside of the back of the litter box and then you attach the other part of the strip to one of the shields and then attach them. You do the same thing on the inside of the sides of the litter box. Next comes the problem step. You cut smaller pieces of velcro to put on the sides of the shields so that you can attach them together. That makes a nice 3 sided shield to protect your wall. The reason it's a problem is the velcro on the sides of the shields comes apart all the time. I don't even know how many times a day that I have to re-attach it. On the plus side, it does protect your walls from cats that like to rear up when they pee and spray the whole back of the litter box. This product is a great idea but I feel like there has to be a better way to do it. I have large, high sided litter boxes but when you have big cats that don't squat to pee, you need more protection. I currently have these shields on 2 litter boxes. I do find that they help protect the walls and they are easy to wipe clean. I just wish the shields didn't come apart from each other like they do. I have more litter boxes that need shields and I will probably not buy this particular one again. Back to the drawing board.

Total life saver. These shields work great. Bought them for all 3 of my litter boxes. I have a male cat with urinary issues and he started to pee while standing up. This has saved my walls!

These plastic barriers were a life changer for us! We have a mini pig with a litter box in our living room, and she would position herself IN the litter box, but the pee would shoot over the edge. I found these barriers and now either, 1: she stands in the middle of our litter box and pees in the pan, or 2: if she's too close to the edge, the pee hits the barrier and stays in the litter pan. WIN WIN!!!Easy to install and the velcro makes it easy ti remove the barriers and clean the box.

So far so good with these. Our cats are “high pee-ers” and don’t like enclosed boxes so we needed something to attach to existing litter boxes to contain drips and dribbles. The adhesive Velcro tape made it relatively easy to install and then adjust to make the opening at the front wider once we realized they didn’t like it as we’d originally attached them. All 3 cats (2 under 2, 1 age 16) are using the boxes fine even with the new clear walls and no more pee dribbling onto the floor. They seem easy to clean and remove, I’m a tad nervous about the tape getting dirty over time but that hasn’t been an issue yet and of course Velcro tape is easily placed. Size worked for our larger deeper boxes. The Velcro tape attaches to itself back to back nicely, locking them in place but still leaving movement as an option. Overpriced for just being a plastic sheet but the quality seems fine so far. Middle range of sturdiness if I had to guess compared to other brands.

I received this parcel just now, and there were no adhesive strips included in the package. The package was also slightly damaged.

This was a great idea and it worked well UNTIL the dust from the actual litter accumulated in the Velcro undoing the sticky part so it no longer sticks. I followed the directions and installed it in February and here it is April and they are falling on my cat while using the box. Don’t waste your money!
