I really like this scoop. It seems to separate the waste from the litter. It is also very sturdy with it being a solid piece and doesn't bend like other metal scoops I've tried in the past. The only downside is that, even tho I really like the big scoop, it is hard to dump it into the litter genie. Besides that, it's great!

I use it for an outdoor kitty litter box with regular construction sand. It works great. I can clean the box fast and doesn't leave anything behind.

I needed a new scoop when we switched away from corn litter to tofu litter, which usually comes in the form of pellets.We already have a great heavy-duty non-stick scoop, but it took FOREVER to sift all the pellets through the regular-sized holes, which was going to get really annoying really fast.There are a lot of scoops on Amazon that look exactly like this, but I chose this one specifically for the grip on the handle.Turns out this scoop is one of the best cat product decisions I’ve ever made, lol. It makes cleaning our girls’ boxes SO much easier. Shoutout to the other reviewer who called it a “bulldozer”, because it’s 100% true so thank you for letting me quote you.It should work fantastically for ANY clumping litter, but if you’re having a hard time finding something to scoop pellets specifically, get this!!Note on tofu litter: we LOVE it. It doesn’t stick to our Siberians’ long bum fur, it doesn’t track (and if it does manage to exit the box, the pellets are big enough to pick up versus having to step on it first and then have to vacuum), produces significantly less dust than other materials we’ve tried (including clay, corn, and silica), clumps & controls odor very well, and is completely safe to flush (as long as you know your cat is negative for toxoplasmosis, which can pollute your area’s water source). Highly recommend making the switch — and you’ll need this scoop to go with it ;)

I needed a litter scoop that had gaps large enough for pine litter to fall through, and this did the job just fine. I recently switched to tofu litter since I heard it was better than pine litter, but either way this scoop does the job well. I like how large it is to scoop better, and the handle is actually quite comfortable. I have small hands and this isn't a struggle to hold or use. The sturdiness of the handle is actually great since I've heard a lot of the handles on other scoops break. Def like this one better than the generic plastic ones.

Giant scoop but not too big. This scoop picks up alot at one time. We use a walnut litter and the plastic scoop would pick up clean and dirty litter. In order to separate you needed to shake, with this you just scoopIand lift and it separates for you so we are not running through so much litter in such a short time. Hung up in cat condo on the door with a stick on hook. Fits perfectly. Nothing sticks to the scoop, using with a stainless steel box we got here on Amazon. The padding is very thin, going to add batting tape (grip tape) over it make it more comfortable. Also the gaps between the metal aren't so big that smaller clumps fall through. Great buy.

The only thing I don’t like about this product is the handle. As some others have mentioned. The yellow rubberized grip slides up and down the handle. Otherwise, I really like this scooper. I found plastic ones years ago that were similar to this, and they worked great, but then they changed the style to little diamonds that let more poop and stuff back into the litter. This really makes scooping so much faster! Just changed the handle, and it would be perfect!

First off let me say this is the litter scoop of champions 🏆 After an excessive amount of time searching, much indecision and near crippling anxiety over the matter, i can confidently say i am so glad i finally decided on this one! *phew* 😅The first two things I noticed, after removing it from its beautiful brown Amazon shipping envelope, are its weight and sheer size! I mean, she really a big ol b*tch. I could easily shovel horse troughs with this thing 😂 …but for now, I will stick with scooping my cat’s pellet litter ~*efficiently~~*Which leads me to the third and MOST IMPORTANT feature about this scooper, is the width of the grates/“holes”... They are miles apart! I am so stoked on this because I will no longer be wasting god only knows how much litter….scooping my cat’s box in the past has been seriously so bothersome bc no matter how much i would try to avoid the clean pellets or shake them off, it’s literally impossible to separate the good, clean pellets that get trapped along with the dirty ones…wasted litter + wasted money = things of the past 😎And lastly, can’t forget the bright yellow handle! I love the color, and the foam grip is super helpful in navigating all angles of the litter box (…anyone ever dropped the scoop before? 🫠) i also thoroughly enjoy the fact that there is a hook at the end, to allow for hooking onto things… Rather than having to set it on the ground, next to the litter box…..seriously, what kind of archaic BS is that???!! (I’m looking at you, old tiny piece of crap litter scoop!!)If for some reason this scooper fails, which i dont believe is physically possible, actually…so, i mean if i somehow lose it, or it gets stolen (…?), I will easily purchase another one from this seller.If you are trying to find a solution to the very frustrating and even more wasteful, small scoop VS pellet litter quandary, LOOK NO MORE. this is your solution!!! I promise you won’t regret it 😊

These are amazing for the pellet litter. I also used it with clay and worked great for both. The clay litter, it cut my cleaning time by 75%.For the okocat pellet litter, it lets the pellets through perfectly.

Overall, I like this. It allows the litter to fall through quickly, cutting the time it takes to scoop, and in principle save litter. In practice, it seems to break clumps more easily, so there are more small bits left behind. But unless your cat is a real clean freak, it should be fine. I worried that it would bend and fail, since its wire and attachment seems less sturdy than single-piece scoops, but I've had no trouble with it digging through my large, multi-cat litter box. The foamy handle cushion isn't well-attached, so squishes forward when you push hard at a stuck clump, but it fairly comfortable, and hasn't torn, so all in all I'd call this a success.

Decent, but huge. Feel like Im about to deep fry McDonalds fries every time I go into my cats kitty litter doorway cause its so huge. I guess some people will like that though. Only real complaint is feeling the wire handle through the foam, it makes it feel cheap and uncomfortable in your hand. Otherwise an ok product

Better made than what the pics reveal, this sturdy product makes it easier to remove the cat business. Easier to move through the litter, but most important, you are not constantly digging and dumping as with other shovels...and making a lot of dust. Wish I had purchased this product years ago. Love shopping on Amazon...you find great things, get fast delivery and have no trouble returning if its not as advertised.

Thank you so much for this scooper!! I struggle with osteoarthritis in both hands and a failed surgery to scoop my cats’ box every day and I have tried everything I could think of. This scoop makes it so much easier to sift through the litter easily and cut the time down by 2/3’s! I can’t believe it has taken me this long to find this! It is a wonderful invention and the cushioned handle makes it much less painful to hold and use. It arrived sooner than expected and I never want to be without it! My cats are my kids now and I will do whatever I can to keep them healthy and happy. You just made that so much easier! I would recommend this to everyone!
