this is a nice alternative to cheap plastic scoopersI'm kinda' tired of having to assemble EVERYTHING these days with too many boxes sit waiting for me to assemble things,, but really it didn't take long.

Be careful when you put this thing together the steel on this is sharp. Got my finger when I was screwing the handle on, I would be careful and use an old toothbrush to clean or use something to sand the grates a bit before use and protection while putting together , but besides that, it is a great one. It pretty much gets all the bits that many scoops miss. Very good at getting any stuck on mess off too. Thanks

I got this scooper not for my cats, but for my wood stove. In the mornings, the ash covers the coals and needs stirred up or sifted. This poop scooper works well for this. The handle could be longer, but I haven't burned myself yet. I needed a fireproof sifter and the stainless steel works great for this.If using for its intended purpose, it would work well. The stainless seems a bit over constructed for kitty litter, but it would word great.

This came dissembled, only took a quick minute and not a lot of hand strength to put it together. It has a wooden handle, but the wood is metal wrapped, so it’s not right in the cleaning action. It includes a tab for hanging on the litter box, but the tab is too short to hang on the outside of the box, and I wouldn’t hang it on the inside because it might get knocked down and make the cats nervous about using the box. I used it to hang on a trashcan near the litter boxes, but again because the tab is so short I can’t hang it on the inside of the can. Which means if there’s any litter clinging to it, it could fall to the floor.The scoop design is effective, works well with clumping litter. It’s kind of a lightweight metal, to the extent that it rings if you bump it on something. Time will tell how well it stands up to the job. I will update if I have anything useful to add.

This is a great quality litter scoop! It comes apart, so you have to assemble it, which is no issue, it is easy to put together, it comes with an allen wrench to attach the handle to the scoop with the screw. It has a little lip that you put on that doubles as a washer and a clip for the side of the litter box. Which is awesome! It stays on several different kinds of boxes, it is universal I think. I have a HUGE litter box and it fits mine and it will also fit smaller ones, ( I have smaller ones I tried it on that I don't actually use I just wanted to see if it would work) It is a wood handle and stainless scoop. I like the distance between the cracks, it will hold the waste in the box well. It is great! I would absolutely recommend this.

Not as sturdy as it seems in the picture. I was hoping for something that would power through the pine pellets I use for litter, but this almost feels like light weight aluminum. Time will tell if it'll hold up, but I'm not convinced it will.

I received this Cat Litter Scoop with Hook in February 2025. The item I received matched the Amazon product page pictures and description. The scooper arrives in parts that need to be assembled. Due to this the hook can be left off if you don't want to use it. I mainly got this scooper because I was tired of the plastic scoopers I normally get breaking at the handle. This scooper has a real wood handle and I don't see how I would ever be able to break the handle itself like what has been happening with my previous plastic scoopers. I also like the metal construction of this scooper. The metal scooper end appears to consists of two parts that are held together with some spot welds. The handle screws into this end with a fairly large and strong looking screw. The handle has a hole at the end so you can hang it up somewhere via this hole. The included hook is 1/2" wide so that is the max thickness of whatever you are wanting to hook it onto.The scooper has been performing well for me. It has two sizes of holes for the litter to fall through with the larger holes towards the back of the scooper. I like this design because it allows me to slightly tilt the scooper back to allow larger litter pellets to still fall through the scooper. I also like how this scooper has a solid plate like surface at the front of it which allows me to pick up small bits of litter that would normally fall through the holes.Overall I think this is a good litter scooper for the price point it is at. I think it is worth considering if you are looking for a litter scooper like this.

My wife has been using a slotted plastic cooking spoon to clean out the litter, so clearly this scoop is a giant upgrade. But I don't want to curse it with faint praise - the scoop itself is an excellent size, has appropriately sized holes, and has a nicely-shaped wooden handle that's easy and comfortable to grasp. My wife also really liked the little hook they include to hang the scoop on any available edge.I should mention that the scoop arrives with handle and scoop head separate. They include a giant Allen wrench to turn the bolt, but it really isn't necessary since the screw doesn't really try to turn when you rotate the handle onto the screw. So far it's holding firmly, but if the handle frequently loosens, I'll put some thread locker on the bolt. In any case, this is a very nice scoop, and being stainless steel, it should stay useful for a long while.
