My cat has pica and has been chewing through my clothes and anything she could get her paws on no matter how careful I was at night she’d open drawers to find something so now i put this muzzle on and she just cuddles me instead of exploring and getting fabric stuck in her body. gives me piece of mind

This works great for cats that like to bite when having procedures. Can you make something for their paws.

It's an awful, dangerous design. Never even made it near the cat. In taking it apart to practice putting it together, I couldn't get the two halves to match up closely enough not to leave a little jagged edge of one half sticking out that would have really hurt the kitty. If I couldn't get it together easily while it was OFF the cat, there was no way we'd get it on a struggling, freaking-out cat. It's poorly designed and made. We'll try wrapping the cat in a towel.

This product mostly works. It can be difficult to get on cat and secure the Velcro when cat is not cooperating. It worked for 2 of my cats but one was able to get it off

Needed to de-matt a friends cat with terrible spots of matted fur. During first try to remove fur carefully, I got bitten badly. While this cat is usually easygoing and friendly, it must have been a painful area.Surprisingly “helmet” went on easily without resistance and cat did not panic or seem to be upset. Got more matting removed & continued the next day for more as I didn’t want to distress the cat removing too much at once. It seemed like she finally understood & let me put on the mask without agitation. The de-matting took several days but she never resisted the mask! I guess the ease the breathe & complete vision prevented panic. The mask is well made, fit great, easy to put on & take off but well secured so cat could not get out! This is an excellent, reasonably priced item I recommend to every cat “servant” trying to take care of their cat without painful bites.

This was easy to slip on and secure before doing nails. My baby is loving but hates to be picked up or held down for anything! I hated having to scruff him and hold him down, but we couldn’t hold him for fear of nails or being bitten. This helps with that so much! And it’s not too big, he’s able to hold his head up

First of all, it works as designed. I would recommend getting one that is smaller than the circumference of your cats neck to ensure they don’t slip out of it.My issue is that the hinge snapped within 2 days. All I did was open it up to let my cat eat and drink, and “snap!” Plastic flew off and I had 2 half spheres in my hands. Since one obviously needs to remove and replace often for the cat to eat, you’d think the hinge would be more reliable. Resorted to duct tape which not gives my already depressed cat a blind spot. Tried to exchange through Amazon, but was only offered a refund if I sent it back in original package, which I don’t have.

I used this for my exotic longhair since he made it VERY clear I wasn't going to get any of his knots out without bloodshed. The tiny monster tried his best to get it off. At one point I had to stop because I was laughing so hard as he had both paws on the bubble trying his level best to pull it off.Don't let your cat fool you, at first they may go limp making you think grooming with a bubble will be a breeze. But once they figure out whats going on the claws will come back out. Trim. The. Claws. First. Don't be like me and forget. Things go much better when the murder mitts have been dulled.I was worried that wearing this would stress my cat out too much. But we got all the big knots out, and he was completely forgiving once he got a treat. No upset tummy or revenge peeing.Do yourself a favor and if your new cat growls at you when you try to grom them, get this. It is well worth it. You'll be less stressed and much more able to get the job done quickly.
