Very disappointed. This was to be a replacement. Size was critical. Seller published size as 38mm/25mm/15mm, almost exactly the size of the bad one. ACTUAL SIZE SHIPPED: 45mm/31mm/16mm. Way too long and TOTALLY WORTHLESS for my application. …. I pressed one star only because this wouldn’t send if I didn’t.

I had bought a fan for dirt cheap and when I turned it on after installing it, the light would turn on but the fan wouldn't move at all. I would hear it humming but no movement. So I researched and discovered that capacitors go bad. I had no idea what it was or what, so I looked for it on the fan and it had 2 wires sticking out of it, one white on the left and a red on the right. Ordered this and when installing it I kept the orientation the same. I put this new ones red with the left white and the black with the right red. I went to turn the fan on before putting it back together and it worked perfectly in all the speed settings. Super awesome that it's also a 2 pack in case the capacitor goes out again.*also, these have a little tab that sticks out. It wouldn't fit without breaking it off with pliers. It broke off easy and it's not needed unless you have that mounting hole on the fan for it. Then used the original bad capacitor sticky backing on the new one to hold it in place as I put it back together

This was such an easy fix! My fan was so slow for the past 2 or 3 years. I was intimidated but for under $10 and 5 minutes to disconnect & reconnect the wires and put back together it’s like new again.
