I'm not a mechanic, but I am keeping a couple of high mileage cars on the road. Needed to replace a seized caliper piston and this was cheaper than buying the OEM piston and new rings.It was really easy to change. Surprisingly easy for a guy that doesn't know which end of a wrench to hold.No problems to report so far. Not sure how long it will last, but it's a piece of cast iron with a rubber o-ring and a piston. So probably not much that can go wrong, other than rust.

Came with brackets and washers . Need to purchase brake cleaner and calliper grease . That don’t come with it . Maybe I need a brake bleeder kit ????
