During covidlockdown I learned how to crochet and enjoyed it. I did not enjoy learning to knit. So because I'm on a boredom journey, I bought a knitting machine...and made a couple of socks. That was fun. I think I enjoy knitting if I learn the fun things from the machine.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my machine! I am making so many baby hats to donate and they are fast and easy! Love it! The problem is the counter. Within 2 days, the counter stopped tripping properly. I have to replace the counter. I saw no reason to send back all this plastic, using resources during shipping, just to get a new one that could also break. So the plan is to get an external counter. Once I get that, this puppy will be in constant use! For the moment, I'm just pumping out projects that don't need to be specific lengths. Highly recommended, just keep in mind to potentially include the cost of an external counter as part of your investment in thos machine.PS DON'T FORCE YARN THROUGH! The gears are plastic. You can't force the yarn because the plastic will break. Be thoughtful as you work and make sure the the yarn is pushed down on the hook as it rises to receive the fresh yarn.

I was sent an obvious return - it was opened, foam feet dots already attached, half of the materials missing and no English instructions left in the box (just Chinese.) Knowing this is a high return item, I didn't bother exchanging it as I'll probably just get another return. Frustrating.The machine mostly works. It's internal gears don't align well and lose interconnection far too often, but if you're patient, it works.I have 2 Sentro knitting machines (a 48 needle and this 22 needle.) They're both fairly junky, to be honest - this 22 is far worse. Knowing what I know now, this brand is just garbage. Surely there's a company out there that could make this WAY BETTER. Until then, I'll make these work.Bottom line: I do not recommend. They're junky.

I just received this machine I was happy to get started making things. I tried cotton yarn, their yarn, red heart yarn. For some reason this one pin keeps messing up! I'm so disappointed.. looks like I'll be sending it back, unless the seller gets in contact with me!!Very frustratingUPDATESeller still did not contact me, I replaced the bad pin $ 8.00, put it back together and now the stitches are skipping every few rows. Pictures will be included. The right pin is what I replaced. Red arrow shows what is wrong with it. Left pin is a good pin and the yellow arrow shows why it is a good one. I did have the yarn anchored down with just small hair clips for tension on the working part. Still did not work. I'm still a bit peeved!! Looks like this one will be returned even after trying to fix it!! Oh ya I forgot to mention the original box was taped. So this must of been a returned item!!

Very happy with it. Works well if I don't try to use yarn that it too heavy. 3 works well. Some 4s also work.

If you are going by the YouTube videos, be advised it’s not as easy as it looks. This machine is very , very picky about the type of yarn you can use. It comes with 2 small balls of yarn and 2 balls of “waste yarn”. Waste yarn is explained in several YouTube videos. You have to go very slowly and really pay attention the first few times but eventually it works. Then you have to figure out what other yarn will work and be very slow and patient. The little hat in the picture took three try’s and lots of frustration.So don’t let the YouTubers convince you this is a snap cause it’s not.
