While not as robust as shackle-style locks, these are a great form for long equipment cases like Pelican cases. They compliment the structure of the case and thereby get some protection from impacts, and the post form is easier to access and manipulate than a U-shackle lock.Easy to set own lock combination and are a decent value for the money. They’re not going to stop a determined person from breaking them, but if you’re just looking for something to use when flying or for basic security, these are pretty good.

They seem like nice locks unfortunately they are not compatible with Condition1 cases due to the small plastic grip being extended on the cases.

I purchased a case a 2 locks from this company to transport a handgun in my checked luggage. At the ticket counter the attendant told me the locks allowed too much access and they it should be 100% tight. There was a very small gap on the front corners. They would not accept this and ultimately I had to leave the gun with family members. I feel like I paid for a quality combination that was acceptable with all airlines. This was a huge disappointment.

This is exactly what I was looking for to secure my CaseClub handgun case. The packaging was very nice, the instructions and function to make my own code were simple, the build quality seems fantastic and the rubber outside sleeve is appreciated to keep from banging around against my case.I also appreciate the added ear plugs that came in the packaging. That was an unexpected surprise to find.And it’s TSA accessible. What more could I have asked for?

I bought two of these locks to secure a rifle case for air travel. These have a combination lock and well as a TSA key hole in the bottom. They are sturdy and low profile and fit through the holes in my case without protruding beyond the case perimeter. The combination dials operate smoothly. Depending upon who you talk to the TSA key access may or may not be wanted so keep that in mind when buying. Having it prevents TSA from cutting your lock if they need to get in for any reason after you check it. These also have a rubber protective cover on them that comes in different colors. I got yellow so that it added some contrast and helped with easy ID when picking up may case at special claims.

Well-made locks, just the right size for my rifle case. They seem to be very durable.The only con I have is that the number are hard to see, have to use a flashlight to see the number in day light.

I purchased these locks at the same time I purchased the Cedar Mills gun case. After purchasing the gun case, I watched a YouTube video showing the case was not secure so I was a little worried but realized the reviewer on Youtube was using regular padlocks, not these locks. Once I received the case and tested the locks, there is no way to open the box sufficiently to access the weapon without taking the locks off or breaking the case! If you buy the case, buy these locks! I would imagine they are designed to work together.My only issue is it is a little hard to see the numbers on the combination lock. It would be nice if the numbers on the locks were a little darker shade to make it easier to see. Nothing major, just a suggestion.
