- Make sure that the replacement light switch has 2 wires.If there are 3 wires, A 3-wire switch is required, such as:ze-110 switch.
- First, cut the two wires from the existing switch using utility knife or wire stripper.
- Then, strip black wires around 1/2 inch，Connect one black wire from the light switch to one black wire from the ceiling fan.
- Next, connect the other black wire from the light switch to the other black wire from the ceiling fan.
- Twist the wire clockwise or fix the links between wires with nuts(Connection of wires must be secured, otherwise, it may result in fire hazard, electrical shock).

I bought these switches to replace a failed switch (the pull chain broke inside the switch housing) on my Hunter Ceiling Fan. I was able to connect the switch easily. The plastic housing was of good quality.

Ordered this to replace the broken switch in a 25 year old Hunter ceiling fan & light unit. My order arrived on schedule with no damage. I received 3 identical on/off pull switches in the package.The switch appears to be identical in size and shape; just slightly different color housing. The only other difference I can see is the pull chain on this unit is about 1-1/4 inches longer than the old one. This was not a problem for me but the chain is easy to cut with a pair of diagonal wire cutters anyway.The insulation on the wire leads already cut so stripping the ends was literally just pulling the insulating sheath off the ends of each wire, making installation a breeze. It actually took longer to get the step ladder and then find the correct circuit breaker than it did to replace this switch and reassemble the light kit.So far no issues, the light switch works like new. I'm pleased with this purchase and I have 2 spare switches for any of the 7 other aging ceiling fans that each have a light kit installed. (We also have a table lamp that has 2 pull switches.)

This light-pull chain was a breeze to install. In addition, its construction was extremely well made. After installation, its operation proved to be smooth and reliable, much better than the pull chain that came with the light. Finally, the price point for a package of three pull chains was outstanding.

Seems a little high in price, considering the price of the shop light (free shipping), but I don't have to unplug the light every time now.

No se han instalado aún. Los compré para control individual de lámparas en techo, las cuales al día de hoy operan con un sólo apagador. He usado algunos similares y cumplen esa función. Estos parecen de mejor calidad.
