Could have used a longer chain, but otherwise it is perfect. I had an extension.I've been using for about a month without issue, but if I do I have a spare.

Purchased this for a fan that has a light above the fan and a 4 light set below the fan. The switch has 4 modes. One is all lights off, one is both light sets on together, one for the upper set and one for the lower set. Works as advertised. The only thing that was different is the original switch that was broken, had a plug on it. I removed the plug from the old switch and put it on the new one, so I could plug it into the original wiring on the fan.
