cumple con su funcion, en mi caso particular he tenido que comprar un nuevo repuesto, sin embargo esto no se debe a "la calidad" de este interruptor, mas bien al diseño de la ubicacion en el ventilador ya que el angulo en el que se instala es de mas de 90º con respecto a la salida de la cadena y esto ejerce demasiada presion al accionarlo y se "rompe" la cadena, modifique la posicion de instalacion apra que no tenga este angulo y se siente mas sencillo de accionar, solo el tiempo dira si la modificacion funciono, recuerden que estos interruptores son de uso liviano, no debemos de tirar de ellos con mucha fuerza, si en su ventilador el angulo de la cadena (por donde se tiene que accionar) es muy grande es altamente probable que ningun interruptos sea duradero, pero no por la calidad del interruptor sino por el angulo en el que se ejerce la tension a la cadena

Needed new fan switch for my Hunter Adirondack four speed fan. Easy switch to replace, watch you tube videos. Couldn't see buying new fan, had 13 years still runs great and quiet.

5 wire is not typically sold at retail. 4 wire is max what Lowe's carries. If you have a 5 wire situation; buy this one asap. The job takes less than 5 min to swap out and swap in. And, works perfectly.

This is an EXACT replacement part that was needed to fix the broken pull switch in my 4-step Hunter brand ceiling fan. It is identical to the one that was removed/replaced from the fan. It was a bit stiff/sticky at first, but has loosened up a bit after a week and is working great. Happy to find the EXACT replacement on Amazon after not being able to find the correct part at any of the big box home improvement stores locally.

We received the item in 1 day. It was the correct part- just as advertised. It fit into our old Hunter ceiling fan just right. We were thus able to repair our ceiling fan instead of having to replace it. Better for the planet, better for the budget and a quick fix to boot! Excellent!

So we have a fan in one of our rooms that is much older than we thought. It's a hunter brand AC fan. It has four speeds and an off position as well as a separate pull chain for the on and off lighting. We have to use the pull chains because the house wasn't properly configured with light switches to control the fans so this fan gets a lot of use. The old switch was getting harder and harder to pull until the old chain just came right out of the entire switch body while the fan was on, leaving the fan on. Upon turning off the breaker and separating the fan we quickly realize we were dealing with a switch that no one had ever seen or heard of.Which was just terrible because the fan itself was still working. I quickly went on Amazon and found this switch in no time and was able to order it with an hour to spare with a guarantee it would be at our property by the end of two days. I had to travel shortly after this so this timetable was important. Amazon did deliver within the stated of time and save the day with this switch. This switch listing also has great information on the wiring and generally how you're supposed to operate this switch so that helped us figure out that we could release the wires from the old switch because there were no pinholes to stick a needle through to release the old wires on the old switch but I was able to use a dental tool to open the springs and pull the original wires out without the need to to cut them away. I could then go ahead and reinsert them into this new switch. No one else carried the switch so of course I'm going to highly recommend this product listing on Amazon. So far we've had zero issues and the switch is slightly easier to operate than the switch it replaced, we assume due to age. We have reason to believe the switch we replaced was really 30+ years so we're not too upset about it. We were more upset that no big box chain hardware store has these older switches even though many of them have the newer style switches used by AC ceiling fans. So once again Amazon saved our bacon and now we have our fan working again for less than the price of lunch these days. We're all happy even if the switch doesn't live 30 years as long as we can keep getting a new switch every decade or so we'd be fine with that too. Keep making this product!
