Double check the band your phone is using when you are at the exact place you plan on installing the external antenna. Every phone can do this so Google it and research your band and tower location on Cell Mapper. If you fall in bands 66, 4, or 7 then this booster will likely help. With your mapped tower location it is a fairly simple task to point your antenna at the tower and connect it to the base. The base works very well with direct line of sight. Through one wall it does well, and through two walls it struggles. 3 is almost impenetrable and you're back onto your old connection. The unit definitely helps, but is a bit finicky. Set it up on a warm day when you can go up to your antenna and down to your base with ease as you may be doing this a few times.

The INVCALL Cell Signal Booster for Home Office is a robust solution for enhancing cellular reception in areas with weak signals. This dual-band cellular repeater boosts 4G LTE and 3G signals across up to 4,500 square feet, making it ideal for homes and small offices. It supports major Canadian carriers like Bell, Rogers, and Telus, ensuring broad compatibility. With a gain of 70dB, it significantly improves call quality and data speeds, reducing dropped calls and buffering. The booster is ISED approved, which means it meets Canadian regulatory standards for safety and performance.Users appreciate the straightforward installation process, which includes clear instructions and all necessary components. The device’s LCD display helps in fine-tuning the antenna for optimal signal strength. Many have noted a marked improvement in their cellular connectivity, even in previously dead zones. The INVCALL booster is also praised for its reliability and consistent performance, making it a valuable investment for those struggling with poor signal reception at home or in the office.

I got this for our cabin renovation as we consistently lose data there but we dont visit enough to buy a Starlink so I got one of these and we went from 1, MAYBE 2 bars of service to 4 consistently, sometimes 3 bars which has been awesome. Been able to facetime the grand kids, use whatsapp face chat, facebook and even some shows on the phone without a hiccup or an issue.Quality is ok, im not a huge fan of how plastic-y everything feels, it almost feels like a plastic hallow unit that bends under slight pressure. It does however come with some mounting hardware but for longevity, id recommend using your own.Our cabin is only 1400 sq ft so I have this close to the center of the cabin, and it covers the whole thing and even outside.Ive been able to hangout outside and watch some youtube or facebook videos in full resolution with no buffering whereas before id be lucky if the youtube video even loaded. It has a little LCD screen which is handy to see the live data of how its doing/boosting, but I dont look at it very often, its just a cool feature. So far, in terms of performance, its A+++, quality is where it suffers but hoping it does last for years to come.

It's hard to know how to rate this. It seems like a good product but we could not get it to work for us. I am giving it three stars (neutral) because I think it's good quality and installing it wasn't a problem, but we have no way of know how well it actually works in a better environment than ours.We have very poor cell reception where we live. On good days we might get 2 bars, but that's rare. 90%+ of the time we are 1 bar and constantly have dropped calls or the caller sounds like a broken robot. A friend of ours had success with a cell phone booster but they had a stronger starting signal to begin with, so we thought we would try to see if it could help us get better quality calls. Unfortunately, it could not help us. The booster seemed to acquire the signal but drop it a minute or so later... then reacquire... then drop. I think this may be good product for people with a little better (2 bar or better) tower signal, but it definitely good not help at the 1 bar tower signal, so if that's all you have to begin with, this is probably not for you.Observations while attempting to set it up:- It came with enough cable to allow us to set it up anywhere on the roof- Came with a window "passthrough" cable for going through an existing window frame- The manual was Ok, but could be better. There were a few times we had to "figure it out" on our own as we didn't see what the manual indicated we should. Likely because of the low tower signal- decent instructions for both iPhone and Android (what app to use), but the app(s) may be a bit complicated for some people. Some parts had me scratching my head- Very good instructions for mounting and placement of the receiver and antennae (distance required to prevent overlap)- came with all mounting parts except a pole (which I would recommend if your putting on the roof, to both stabilize and get additional height)It's a shame this didn't work for us, but it may for others. My recommendation is to make sure you have at least 2 bars (of 5) of tower signal to begin with.
