It is nice, but it could be redesigned to accommodate cellphones with a case on it. My cellphone has an Otter box on it, and it pops out of the holder.

I wanted (needed) something to hold my Kindle Oasis 8th Gen (the one with the charging cover). This holds it well - with a bit of adjusting to make sure it doesn’t knock the magnetic cover attachment out of contact when it’s clamped east/west. Clamped north/south it doesn’t effect the cover at all.I have several type of holders - for tablets / devices, but most are designed for sitting in the lap or tabletop use - which isn’t practical for how I like to relax into my “cozy chair” for reading every night. This works great, as I was able to bend and twist this to “noodle” it over my chair’s armrest in a way that it was secure and hands free, but could also be picked up and moved over to the other arm, without much fuss, when I wanted to shift positions. If you’re considering this - as with anything similar - pay particular attention to the size range of the device “holder” portion of the description. For reference; my Oasis is roughly 4.75” wide (with the cover folded back) - and 5.5” high.Assembly was simple - and of a typical nature for this type of holder. It takes a fair bit of “oomph” to bend and manipulate into the position you want - which is also what helps to make its grip secure. This was a “perk-free” review.

I love this item, because I have carpel tunnel and arthritis so I don’t have to hold my phone any more for long periods of time . Great invention!!!

This phone holder, especially for the price, is solid and works well and holds my phone in place. The only down-side of a holder at this price point is that you have to get your head into the loop, which can be awkward. Once your head is in - you're gold. Other much more expensive holders have more creature comforts. It's really a matter of personal preference.

I've used this for maybe 5 hours or so and the mechanism is tightened to its max but the phone holder angle now slowly droops down after 10 seconds or so and won't maintain a static position. I manually readjust and it lowers its angle, over and over. There's no way to increase the strength further. On a galaxy s22, it's not heavy, maybe it's a bad batch but it's completely useless.

I use my phone for everything, including watching shows/movies. This device is the ultimate convenience tool to use at night in bed while watching videos and what not. Only problem is that they tend to break down due to the hard plastic material they use, so they must be handled gingerly to get the best longevity out of them.

The product gave me lots of hope, as it was designed differently than othes I had purchased, with weak spots that always broke, every 3 months in one of 2 exact pressure points, or weakness points. This was just a poor engineering design that they surely have notices, but have not fixed. This was different. It looked like a solid, different design, along with sturdier materials, so I bought it. And it IS stronger, with a sturdier design. Except, it uses magnets to hold the two "posts" into the actual phone holder. The magnets, I'm guessing, were intended to be placed, right at those places at which receive the most physical stress and pressure, where, as it did on the device which is made out of one, unified piece of ... whatever it's composed of; that is, a mixture of plastic and bendable metal, but is somehow formed into one piece,so it breaks at its weakest point. This unit just pops apart at the magnets, without breaking. After which, one simply guides the 2 ends back into the hole, where the magnets reattach, and you just start over again, no breakage, no harm, no foul. Which is wonderful... except that it started doing it frequently. Which quickly seemed like, " all the time." Fthe thing kept popping apart at the magnets. It didn't break but the weak points, at the magnets, kept popping them out so often, that it just became a big nuisance. It still functions as it was designed to. I simply bought a more expensive one. It works fine, no problems. In this case it seems you truly get what you pay for. I think the magnets idea was a good one. But practically, the magnets should be much stronger. I've had stronger magnets. I suggest to the engineers of this product that they simply buy some very strong, yet cheap magnets from Habour Freight Company and use them in your product. This might make them perform as you intended this to perform.
