Ideal size for wide compatibility
The cello box stand measures 19.5 inches in length, 8.7 inches in width and 8.9 inches in height, excluding feet. On the inside the stand measures 18.7 inches in length, 7.9 inches in width and 8.7 inches in height. The ideal size of our box stand ensures compatibility with full size (4/4) and smaller cellos. The stand weighs 7 pounds, which provides stability whilst it is also easy to move and transport if needed.
Cushioned protection

VERY nice and the price is less than others of the same type. Very compact so I can keep it handy to practice more often without having to latch it up on its case. I put the case in a closet so it frees up the space in my living room. I love that the bow fits in a corner slot. Love it.

I ordered this Cello Box Stand – For Full Size 4/4 Cellos - with Cello Endpin Stopper - Luxury Burgundy Plush Liner – Wooden Mahogany-tone Upright Instrument Holder – Wood Display Case - Integrated Bow Holder for my student 4/4 cello. It fits perfectly and looks a lot better than the metal guitar one I was using before. When you look very closely, there's a couple of spots that don't align (the hole for the endpin with the velvety material for instance or the rubbery parts on the feet). However, it's not like you're staring at it that closely in normal use. My only concern is that the parts sticking out are sticky, so they will attract dirt. I had no issues with the fit. The cello sits in there nice and snug. It feels secure. Overall, I am very happy with this display case. It is very classy.

This is certainly the most beautiful and luxurious stand I've ever had for my cello. It's well made. The velvet padding is gorgeous. I feel like my 4/4 cello is safe and secure. Another reviewer had an issue with the size of it and it didn't hold their 4/4 cello. My cello was made in the 1850s in Paris, France. I did measure it before I ordered the cello stand though.It does come with an endpin accessory so your floors aren't damaged. I haven't used that yet. This seems to fit my cello snugly without hurting it. It's light enough that I can move it without hurting my back, but super sturdy and stable. I love it. My cello deserves it. Would make a wonderful gift for the cello player in your life! I'm keeping mine though!

Make sure you check measurements. The box stand is a bit small for my standard Stradivari size cello.
