It's a spring. It does what it does.

It might be a bit less springy then I hoped.

Springs are made in USA, not china. I used them as a replacement for the Rossi factory spring in a Rossi model 92. Replacement.springs.doropped brass in a 16" area in front of my right foot. The original spring, 10' high and somewhere behind me. Smoothness of the action is greatly increased. The shipment and price where cheaper than anywhere locally available. I highly recommend the product

Regarding another review stating it caused ejector bind, that was due to improper assembly. Firstly, the collar has a bevel in one end which must face fwd or collar will bind on ejector stem notch. Even facing correctly, it can cant and bind. With the lighter spring, while keeping pressure on ejector face and flush with bolt face by using an empty cartridge held in place, with stem/spring/collar inserted in fully in bolt and collar not yet hooked in notch (which allows that full seating), use a hook scribe to pull collar fwd until it hooks in notch. WITHOUT releasing empty brass and keeping ejector held flush, insert bolt into receiver and slide fwd until brass enters chamber and that will then hold ejector where it will not slip and bind, and lever can then be inserted and pinned. This spring bloops empties or loaded ammo right out the top at feet, and stops most hard feeding issues all by itself.

I also got these for the Rossi 92 ejection spring and it's a huge difference! Not only does the casings land closer, but the throw of the lever is so, so much smoother and easier. With the hammer back, I can cycle it with my pinky! Absolutely massive improvement!

I purchased this as a replacement for the Rossi 92 ejector spring. It did not work in my gun. Others have used it successfully but when I installed it the spring was too thin and gave too much lateral movement so it would bind on the the ejector when being compressed. The stock spring on the Rossi 92 is stiff and there is no up/down or side to side movement when the spring gets compressed so it compresses over the ejector just fine. This spring would bind up on the ejector and so it did not work for me. Shame because I would like to have a lighter ejector spring. I also tried a similar spring purchased at my local Lowe's (slightly thinner gauge wire I think and slightly longer) that also did not work. I thought that maybe since this spring is a bit thicker gauge and shorter it would work but no dice. I gave it two starts because this spring is not necessarily marketed as a Rossi 92 replacement spring so I was kind of taking a chance any way, but my guess is that most people who buy this own a Rossi. Lucky I'm not out a ton of money.
