This is a great large size mug/bowl that is awesome for not only storing airtight food in the fridge, but heating up in the microwave. It has a vent in the lid that you pop open to let steam out before placing in the microwave. It's a really nice quality heavy mug. Not going to easily break and it has a nice neutral design.

These bowls are so much more than I hoped for! They are large and sturdy! I love that they come with a lid! My only thing for improvement would be a larger handle, but over all they are great!

Where has this been all my life? This soup mug is so nicely designed and it works great to heat up two servings at once for me and my husband. It holds a lot without feeling bulky or cumbersome, and the handle makes it easy to take from the microwave to the table. I love that this is dishwasher safe, and I can fit it easily in our dishwasher, making clean-up a breeze. And the pattern on the exterior provides both a nice look and a texture that makes it easier to hold for weaker hands like mine. I'm actually on buying more of these to give as gifts this year, that's how much I like it. Do yourself a favor and snag one of these, because it's just a really nicely made soup mug that can go from the fridge to the microwave to the table very easily.

In the photo the mug looks smaller than it actually is, but overall it is of good quality.

Gave this item less stars than hoped. I knew it would be a large cup since it is to be used for soup. But, it is huge and so heavy. Not sure I will be able to manage it. My husband said he sort of liked it.

It is winter, and I have been wanting to take soup to work very badly. We have microwave ovens, but I hate heating soup in plastic containers. My food has tasted like plastic before, and I just don't want to do that anymore. So, this soup bowl ... it looks huge compared to a coffee mug. The thing is, I don't think you're supposed to fill it the whole way. There is no max line. But even though the top creates a suction seal, the seal on mine is not very long lasting. In fact, the lid fell off when I first put it into my lunch bag. But that's why I don't think it's supposed to be filled all the way. I also had another container on top of it in my lunch bag, just to make sure it didn't pop open. At first, I was surprised the lid did not screw on.Since I only filled mine half-way, my cup did not experience a spill during transport in my car. The extra gap allowed me to put crackers into my soup. One could also add other garnish. The cup/bowl was safe to put in the microwave, vented. The cup without the lid is also ok to put in the regular oven. And the cup and lid are dishwasher safe.I also love the green color of the bowl. It is a beautiful sage green.
