Overall this is a pretty good chai powder and i got the east indian spice version. It is bit more vanilla heavy for my preferences (bit of a pet peve since no vanilla is in real chai but I get why people like it). Good sized bag for good price.My favorite chai powder mix has an insane amount of sugar and sodim both of which i am trying to reduce. I found this chai and was excited by how much lower sugar and sodium was in it per the picture of the label. The taste is still decent with less sugar and Im sure as i acclimate to less sugar it will be good.However I'm only giving 4 stars because what I received while same brand and name it has a different nutrition label with different sugar and sodium levels which is disappointing. 45g sodium and 18g sugar are what is in the product pic but in my pic you can see it is 65 and 27 respectively. The sodium is still a huge decrease from my old brand but the sugar is only barely lower and that was my main item to descrease.I do like that one level scoop is almost a full serving though that is nice. I measured and it is just barely less than 1/3 cup so a heaping scoop should be enough for one serving.My restrictions are self imposed to improve my health but this would be very disappointing for anyone who medically needs low sodim or sugar to get the switcheroo like this. Even accounting for different serving sizes (3tbs product pic, 1/3 cup on what i received) it is still more sodium and sugar.

Found out the “Dirty Chai Latte’s “ at the local coffee shop we’re using this powder and BAM I can make my own with the espresso machine at home. Sometimes I add to brewed coffee as well. Super sweet stuff so it’s nice to minimize it on my own but really it’s as a treat not an every day kind of drink for me.
