The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because it's a bit longer than necessary and doesn't cinch up the chain against the chainring like it should. Too much movement within the pass-through. Other than that, it's a good product.

my bike is a box store 3 x 8 and my chain kept slipping off the front gears in rocky sections of trail. This was easy to put on and the chain hasn't come off once since this was installed (and I've tried to find its limit). No more stopping mid-trail to put the chain back on. My only complaint is that my front grar set doesn't like it but that's fine since I only ever use the mid range anyway. I can wait a little longer to upgrade my drive train.

I was having issues with my chain easily bouncing off the first or third chain rings. Pulled a couple links off the chain and it offered no help. So I started hunting a solution. Chain tensioners seemed to be the piece of the puzzle I needed. But i saw a bunch of fancy “high tech” options in the $25 to $40 and even a considerable amount higher. The lowest i saw with those was $22. And many only accommodated single ring drive trains. I had 3. Then I saw the IQ labs model and its great price. Seemed to be perfect on paper but I was a bit skeptical about the material and being attached by zip ties. But I installed it in the blink of an eye and one quick run through the gears and I was sold. It does exactly what it says it will do, and was the cheapest option. I recommend it 100%. The fancier once may suit your needs if you are a more serious rider. But for the weekend Warriors and the daily riders it’s perfect.My only suggestion would be to develop a model that doesn’t use zip ties as its primary connector. But other than that, more colors would be great.

I can’t believe that I put this on my chain and there doesn’t appear to be any friction. It doesn’t slow down or interfere with the chain at all. I bought a second one for my gravel bike and will buy another if I purchase a bike in the future. It’s smooth and stops all noise from the drive system. Great product.

It serves its function well but it made my bike look kinda dumb with it. I didn't notice a change in shifting but it days stop your chain from slapping your chain stay. It also reduces sound when rocketing down trails or hitting jumps.

Great little pc of chain guide, looks professional and adds confidence to the rider.I rated 5 stars on everything even though I haven’t tested out on the field, but I feel confident that will perform well and will not disappoint no me.Just the fabrication itself looks very well made, durable and flexible enough to fit any bike.

It works. I used on a 2X and a 1X. Quieter, shifted better, stopped chain slap, but best of all it really stopped chain drops.I noticed no drag or resistance.Super easy to put on. Literally takes a minute. You don’t need to break the chain. You could easily put it on or take it off on the trail.Very helpful for those of us with lower end derailleurs that do not have a clutch.
