My biggest and really only complaint is that with the clear bottom, my chameleons kept trying to eat the bugs through the bottom and sides causing their tongues to get stuck which can cause injury. It was an easy fix as I just bought waterproof white vinyl and covered the bottom and sides and now it works perfectly. Their bugs haven’t really escaped from it, the crickets definitely can, but really don’t because they take long to figure it out and typically get eaten before then. I haven’t had a roach escape yet at all though! I bought two; one for each chameleon and would buy another if I ever needed it. I would recommend!

This feeder is awesome for chameleons, particularly for Dubia roaches. It gives them the opportunity to climb and be seen and for my chameleon to hunt them. It works as well for crickets, but, if in the bottom of the cup some can occasionally jump high enough to get out. No worries though, my chameleon can use the escapees as hunting victims at a later time as the terrarium itself is escape proof. The feeder is a little larger than I thought it would be from the pictures and it is perfect for my terrarium. I would buy this again.

It is pretty simple, actually. This is a small 'bowl' that can hold dubia roaches, etc in it. In the center it has a pole that the bugs can climb. This keeping the bugs in the bowl or up on the pole. It is a great way to keep food in it's place but allows the food to climb into view.
