Delivered on time. One day turn-around.At first, when I opened the package the rim looked a bit rough and I thought to myself that with long term use it might irritate the index finger during release. But all it took was a light buff by hand with an old piece of 220 grid sand paper and a hand towel for about a minute. The rim now feels very smooth as the sides and it looks great. 👌

A group of friends were reminiscing about or glory days on the track team. Myself being a field event athlete, though I could still throw one of these bad boys. Well, drinking ensued and we ordered one from our favorite online store and it arrived next day. I will cut to the case and let you know that this purchase was way more affordable than the damage we did to the neighbors patio furniture… good times!

There were mild scratch marks on the surface. We didn’t buy it to enter a beauty contest, but I question whether we received a new product.

Don’t even bother, it was way thicker on the one end.

Fairly decent disc. Got it to master my spins. Sent me heavier than I ordered, but not complaining as using a heavier weight never did any harm. Hasn’t cracked any yet, but easily scratched since it is a rubber.

Ordered 2. I'm new to track & field, but learning to love throwing very quickly. Obviously, this means I haven't had the opportunity to use really high end implements nor do I know 100% what makes a great discus (rubber or not). However I knew what I was getting when ordering this budget friendly rubber discus.I found that these rubber discuses should mainly be used for doing drills with weight in the hand, or throwing into nets or in an indoor facility. I do use mine on gravel regardless, and that has led to some of the rubber around the edges to get chewed up and flake off. I don't weigh that very heavily against this product, but at first I was surprised to see how badly it got chewed up in just just one or two throws. For throwing into a net, these work amazing though and I would definitely recommend them at the price point. I think the rim weight is rather low so they won't go as far as a really nice discus, but that's fine. They should be used to practice technique and consistency!

I've been throwing for nearly 30 years and needed more discs to begin teaching my children. This discus has a nice grip and feel to it and hasn't slipped out of my (or my kids') hands yet, even through the spins. I highly recommend it as a good practice disc.

Received this discus today. Looks like a great practice discus, and sounds like it will hold up well from the other reviews. Delivery was very fast. I bought it for my son, who used to throw the discus, as well as for me to learn how. Yes! Fun stuff to do with one of my sons!

Great product! I purchased this discus for during the off-season in track. Defiantly a great product for its price. Would recommend this product to anyone in need of a durable yet low priced discus.

My grand daughter started throwing this year and wanted to be able to practice on the weekends. This was identical to the Jr. High discus she uses in Track. I'll probably get more next year if she stays with it.
