Don’t lock like they’re supposed to, doesn’t even open properly when clicking the release. The packaging for the clamps were open. Extremely dissatisfied.1/5Will be returning this.

The “epoxy” coat isn’t too resilient.These are not working clamps. They look the part but they don’t spring open as they were intended to. Channel lock needs to do a bit more research and testing before launching new 💩 products that poorly represent the brand.

i don't know if it was just mines that was defective, but i had two different grips with bad springs. this c-clamp was one of them. tried to contact channel lock directly about this issue. no word from customer support, would have been better off buying cheaper off brands. would get the same treatment and quality.

I ordered these through the vine program, and I have to say these are really, really nice. The finish is sexy as hell, first of all. Not only does it look slick, the finish should resist buildup of slag, grease, etc. I wanted to see if they had any flex, so I clamped down on a piece of scrap wood. As you can see from the photo, the clamp bit in really well, and I didn't notice any sort of flexing or slippage. It's pretty easy to unclamp as well. The only thing I wish it had was a hex indentation on the adjusting bolt. It's one of those things that isn't necessary, but it seems like an easy enough addition that would add some flexibility/ease/speed of use. All in all though, for the cost you can't go wrong. This thing works great and is built to last!
